@rsg1ll The spin was that Southall people wanted cheap safe cycling over a super-expensive reduction in traffic congestion (on which the Gasworks debacle getting the go-ahead was conditional, btw).

Now we know it’s because they didn’t budget properly (not with Southall in mind, anyway).
