@gabrielquotes @SteveACooper @_petermason I worded that wrong. He’s blaming Israel for fuelling terrorism against Israel. He doesn’t, afaik, blame other states for terrorism against their own people.

@gabrielquotes @SteveACooper @_petermason Seems to me though that he is expecting behaviour from Israel (not to fuel terrorism) that he doesn’t expect from other democracies (although I could be wrong about that - maybe he does blame UK foreign policy?).

He doesn’t have to spell it out in every tweet. Even if he doesn’t similarly blame other states for terrorism against their own people.

@SteveACooper @_petermason But isn’t that exactly why the tweet from Steve Reed is arguably antisemitic? It’s not a clear line in this case. Which race or people were being targeted by the terrorism Steve Reed says the Jewish state of Israel fuelled? Why is Israel singled out for this criticism?
