Read more@jamesgoldstone @eastacton Not necessarily so. It was in any case the safest Labour ward in Ealing. Labour candidates lost about 20% of their 2018 vote despite a slightly higher turnout. Lowest winning number of votes in this ward since 2006, if I’m not mistaken.

He was lower down the alphabetical list than the other two, it’s the same with the Independent Network and other part candidates generally (always a few exceptions). More significant perhaps they had around 7-800 fewer votes than 2018.

Eleven including Leslie himself. We came from nowhere and finished ahead of Lib Dems and Greens in some if not most wards (I haven’t had chance to have a detailed look at results yet).
