We said in our election material that we would start by paying council workers at least £15 an hour. Mason’s track record is one of consistent failure, with the only person to benefit being himself.

As you say, they cannot control the jobs market. What they can do is pay their own workers a minimum wage of £15 per hour, but they can’t even pay the London Living Wage to their school catering workers.
